Made in France, it has a full taste and a rich tradition that dates back to 1559 when S. Vivant de la Salle produced the first bottle of Brandy Armagnac. The famous “crooked bottle” recalls the original bottles used by San Vivant. Today, San Vivant still uses white wine grapes, native to the south-western French region of Gascony. These grapes are still fermented and distilled in a traditional copper cauldron. The distillate is aged in oak barrels until they are transformed into a tasty brandy. The S. Vivant winery then begins its delicate task of mixing the spirits until it reaches the consistent flavor and its distinctive amber color with golden reflections.
